Unleashed Flag's Inaugural Youth Tournament Was a Huge Success!
The first-ever Unleashed Flag Youth Tournament, held June 6-7, 2026, exceeded expectations and set the tone for what promises to be an exciting future for youth flag football.
From the opening whistle to the final championship games, the weekend was filled with elite competition, incredible energy, outstanding sportsmanship, and an atmosphere that truly showcased the growth of youth flag football. Coaches, players, parents, and spectators all helped create an unforgettable experience.
One of the highlights of the weekend was how smoothly the event ran from start to finish. Our officiating crew did an outstanding job throughout the tournament, keeping games competitive, fair, and flowing efficiently. The positive feedback from teams and families confirmed what we already knew—this event was special.
Free Combine Kicks Off the Weekend
The action began Saturday morning with a FREE combine hosted by D1 Sports West Frisco and Route Runrz. Athletes had the opportunity to showcase their speed, agility, and athleticism while learning from experienced trainers and coaches.
As a thank you for participating, every athlete who attended the combine received two sets of Unleashed Flag Belts, helping them prepare for a great weekend of competition.
Championship-Level Competition
While we were unable to track individual game statistics throughout the tournament, that certainly didn't diminish the level of competition on the field. Every division featured talented athletes and hard-fought battles, with several games coming down to the wire.
Two championship games delivered unforgettable finishes. Both the High School Girls Championship and the 8-9U Boys Championship were decided on the final play of the game, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the very end.
